Power supply switch automation - APZ

It is planned to systematically decrease APZ production in favour of new device - APZplus.

The APZ family is designed for HV, MV and LV switchgears, supplying mainly non-motorized load, where voltage measurement is based on voltage transformers.

     Possibility of operating up to 10 circuit breakers

Features of APZ automatic unit:

• Dedicated for circuit breaker systems (can operate in switchgears with number of circuit breakers from 2 to 10, with possibility of power supply from power generator); 
• Designed to work on each voltage level (HV, MV and LV);
• It performs synchronous switching without interruption;
• Has the ability to switch circuit breakers on the upper side of the transformer supplying the switchgear;
• Configured individually

Automatic change-over unit (APZ) can perform the change-over in the following cycles:

• Automatic Transfer of Reserve (ATS) free caused by opening of circuit breaker in supplying line;; 
• Automatic Power Switching (SZR) slow caused by voltage drop on busbars with closed breaker in supplying line;
• Scheduled Power-Up Transfer (PPZ) synchronous uninterruptible;
• Planned Power-Up Transfer (PPZ) synchronous uninterruptible; Planned Power-Up Transfer (PPZ) free;
• Return Flow Scheduling (RPS) synchronous uninterruptible;
• Automatic Reverse Power Switching (ARP) - synchronous uninterruptible; Automatic Reverse Power Switching (ARP) - slow;
• Automatic Power Switching (AZZ) slow
